Farewell, farewell, farewell.....

Saying "farewell" or "goodbye till we meet again" to staff who had been with the team for a significant number of period is never easy.  This gathering was held on Thursday, 30/06 to bid farewell to 4 of my staff.  Yes, you read it correctly.  4
Two had been with the team for about 10 years, and 5 years (respectively), on contractual terms; the other 2 are on an extended 6-monthly assignment.
All the four had provided excellent support in ensuring the smooth running of the Engineering Drawing Team's day-to-day activities.  Not a "one eye close" job, but handling thousands and thousands of drawings (A0 - A3 sizes); at the same time, handling - at times - difficult end-users who love to use the word 'VERY URGENT' on their requests.
On top of that, there're the uploading of hundreds and hundreds of updated drawings on the web-based documentation database.

Fruits baskets, and branded watches, for each of them.

Some of the dishes to be served.

After a doa selamat recital by one of our senior personnel, and giving away of momentos, it's time for makan-makan.

Some of the staff taking their meals in one of the conference rooms.

Bingka susu, bingka keladu, and kuih lapis.

That's chicken.
Another group eating in the pantry of our office building.

Another team having their 'makan' in the Reprographics room.
