Harvesting

It was a Saturday evening when we went to our weekend abode, and that was 2 days ago.  After doing some plastering work inside, hubby went to have a look at the garden in the backyard.  Thought that most of the local longans were already harvested three weeks back.  To our pleasant surprise, more were on the trees waiting to be plucked or harvested as I like to call it.
I am, normally, not a fan of the local longans (or buah mata kucing); however, those that grow on the two trees in our backyard have luscious flesh and juicy.  I can eat 40 - 50 at one sitting, believe it or not.

The picture below shows some of the buah mata kucing plucked 2 weeks ago from the same trees.  2 large plastic bags full of the fruits were closeby.
